Frontiers in Paediatric Gastroenterology, Lusaka, 2017
We very much hope to see you in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, in the heart of Africa. The 15th conference of CAPGAN is co-hosted by the Zambian Association for Gastroenterology and Nutrition. The programme reflects the exciting state of this specialty in 2017, including updates on malnutrition and infection, endoscopic therapy, the new treatments for hepatitis, and a one day symposium on environmental enteric dysfunction.
The conference will be held at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre, Zambia’s premier conference centre which has hosted many international scientific and political conferences, and which even boasts wild animals in the grounds. The MICC is situated centrally and surrounded by easily accessible hotels, shops and restaurants. The conference will be held in English.
The registration fee will be discounted before 1st Sept. 2017, and there are reductions for students in full time programmes:

Students must provide a certificate from their programme director before their registration will be accepted. Presenters (students only) of accepted abstracts may apply for bursaries which will cover the cost of registration. Registration fees must be sent by bank transfer and a copy of the transmission document sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Conference fees include lunch and the conference dinner.
CAPGAN 2017 Account Details
There will be 14 oral presentations selected from submitted abstracts, and a poster session. Abstracts should be submitted by 1st Sep. to email@example.com. There is no abstract submission fee. Abstracts must be 250 words or less and should be structured (Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions). Abstracts will be selected on grounds of relevance and clinical/scientific interest only by a scientific committee; all decisions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
